This happened with my Mother's Pacifica and the dealership where she purchased the vehicle replaced I think both of the batteries under warranty.
I assumed the reason for them to fail was she didn't drive out of the small city she lived in very often and hardly drove far enough to warm up the oil maybe twice a week.
I drive my Jeep usually once a week for grocery's, but I always get the oil temperature as close to 200 degrees as I can before turning it off for the week. My drives this year have been at least 30 minutes and on roads with 65mph speed limits or a bit above. The start stop feature would occasionally activate when stuck in city traffic, but recently it was not. I didn't mind it too much, but I took a long trip a couple weekends ago and throughout the trip it would say "Start/Stop Not Ready" when I scrolled through the menu while being bored on the drive.
I'm in the OKC area and don't really like taking things to the huge dealerships in the larger cities, but may have to.
Has anyone had batteries covered under warranty?
