Radio no sound

Just got in my car and drive home no sound coming out of the radio I tried turning off the car several times to no avail. And it is not muted any ideas

Try to change the source. Plug in your phone and start car play. It’s happened to me a couple of times. Also make sure the mute button is not pressed.

check that all fuses and relays are properly seated in the fuse box under the hood. Many are loose from the factory.

You must have it on XM. My XM works that bad.

I hear no sound because I am deaf .

Make sure you did not accidentally press the mute button.

I've had this happen to me. I either turn it off and on or just switch sources. Seems like a flaw, but haven't bothered to take it in yet.

Thanks guys. I changed source a bunch of times from Sirius to fm but when I went to am it worked. Who knows at least it worked.

This just came out from the Jeep Informant. There are software updates for some of the radios to address a number of problems.

Everything was working perfectly fine when I parked it in the garage. Start it up this morning and suddenly there's no sound. Tried every source (XM, FM, CarPlay, Media, etc) and its the same story. Checked the UConnect version and it says I'm up to date. This is beyond frustrating. I've made 2 payments on this Jeep and its already having problems like this?

If anybody narrows down the exact cause/fix for this issue, please don't forget to let us know.

Just try a.m. when that happened to me I was pushing all kinds of buttons turning the truck on and off when I hit the a.m. button it worked I don’t know if it was coincidence but it will come back I think

Strangely enough, started the Jeep up at lunch and everything was back to normal. Guess we'll see if it happens again and go from there...
