Racechip GTS (rough idling after update)

I have a Racechip GTS installed for over a year without problems. Today the app updated the calibration and now in “race” settings 7 all the dash lights turn on. Check engine light with P2172 code, stability control lights etc. I have to set it to 6 now, but as soon as I place the settings on 7, the problem returns. Has anyone experienced this?

I am currently experiencing the same situation with map 7, the rest of the settings work fine.

I am not a customer of racechip but have become unintentionally well versed with piggyback type devices. The code and experiences you guys are describing strongly indicate that the Racechip is losing communication with the CANBus, specifically the MAP sensor data it is connected to, when using Map 7.

Of course, it means for the time being you can’t use Map 7 until Racechip has released an update to the software. It sounds like a bug that is causing this. Are you able to flash back to the previous version?

Yes, I called Race Chips and they reverted the update to the previous one and solved it. I just left it there and haven’t updated it since.
