Very good responses from y’all. I really appreciate the input (I’m an old guy, but I’m still learning). If anybody has an idea for mounting a 15 pound tank, other than the Powertank behind the seat bracket, I’d love to see it.

I am currently running 2-10lb tanks on their rollbar mount. I have several air down and fill ups on a 10lb tank, however I have filled up others as well. I run 39’s and air down to 16 psi normally and up to about 28/29. I would say an estimate is about 4-5 sets (air ups) off a 10lb tank, plus or minus.

We have a 10lb Powertank and use it to fill our 37x12.5-17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers from 13psi to 28psi. A full 10lb tank will fill 20 tires if adding 15psi to each tire.

Just to throw it out there, you can just buy the regulators from PT and your own tank and it works out to be about the same price (or better if you can find a used bottle still in cert). The only downside is that swapping a 15# tank is just about nonexistent so you'll be forced to choose 10# (still somewhat uncommon) or 20# (super common).

The big benefit is that many places don't fill CO2 on site so you can just swap out tanks if you can't find someone to fill or if it's cheaper/faster to just swap. It's not uncommon for a chain of stores to fill at a central location and distribute bottles as needed to remote sites so this opens up options.

Only downside is that you don't get the flashy bottle.
