Be easy on the throttle. 5.38 is a pretty thin ring gear tooth on a Dana 44.3.6L e-torque, Gamechanger 3.5" on 37's, re-geared to 5.38's. It's got more pick up than stock and cruises 80mph at 16mpg

I have a 3.6 no complaints. It isn’t a 5.7. But hey did not have to pay for a 5.7 eitherI test drove one today. thinking about it but really wanted the turbo 4. When u went bigger tires. Did you see a performance difference? The v6 seemed sluggish compared to the turbo 4
Take a look at the Dyno graphs for the two engines. the 2.0 makes loads more torque down low.You are gonna have to regear a 2.0 for the bigger tires for the same reason. The Turbo makes no difference in the bottom end where the e torque has more power and torque.
There are no Dyno graphs for the 3.6 e torque which adds +90ftlbs torque at start..Take a look at the Dyno graphs for the two engines. the 2.0 makes loads more torque down low.
There's no dyno graph for it because it happens so low in the rpms it is almost immeasurable. Does the etorque make a slight difference in low throttle take offs on the street? Sure. It's it even noticeable if you get into the throttle even remotely aggressively, especially in 4LO? Not in the slightest. I believe I read it's only active until 1200rpms. Blip the throttle in the slightest and see how quickly you're above that and your etorque is doing nothing. That being said, both jls we've owned have had etorque, I'm not afraid of its longevity at all. It just isn't the major power adder some think it is. If it were, 0-60s for etorque Jeeps should fall about half way between the same non-etorque model and the 4xe that actually adds 150ftlbs throughout the rpm range. They aren't. They are in fact no different than the non-etorque models. At best its enough boost to make up for its added weight. There

Awesome! Now go and enjoy that new Jeep, and don't worry about any of the opinions in here. ??I bought the rubicon with the e-torque yesterday.
35’s are plenty enough for me. Got all these on themNeeds tires. the 33's can go on the tacoma. I need 35's or 37"s
