2 or 4 door doesn't matter. Just need to make sure you have the correct TPMS sensors.

Pretty sure he means suspension in this case
Yeah from a suspension standpoint, I keep reading about LCA need to be replaced but I’m not 100% sure…I just want to do this all at once and not keep paying installation fees

On a Sport, you should consider at least a coil spacer lift, otherwise the fenders will look too stuffed and it migh rub while flexing.

To start with all you need is the springs, shocks are a good upgrade too if you get those. Everything else is the same, LCA’s, sway bar end links and track bars.

ETA. If you get the other parts it’s all good, you’ll have some spares.

Unless the JL/JLU is totally different than the JK/JKU shouldn't be anything else you need. I put Rubi shocks and springs from a 2015 JKU Rubi on to my JKU Sport and it was a simple swap, didn't need anything else. Just switch the springs and shocks. With that being said if you don't like the forward rake of your Sport this would be a good time to add a leveling kit.

I believe what you're reading when people talk about also replacing the LCA's is "upgrading" to the mopar lift LCAs or other aftermarket adjustable LCAs. (Not the stock Rubicon LCAs since they are the same as the Sport.)

I installed a Rubicon suspension on my Sport and also added the mopar lift LCAs. This improved castor and steering greatly.

You want the Rubicon suspension from a 4 door hardtop. There is a chart in a sticky post at the top of this forum that has the spring numbers.

You won't gain much lift 4 door to 4 door, about 3/4" You will want to maybe put some 3/4"-1" spacers in when you swap the springs. You will want those red Rubicon shocks because they are longer than the black Sport shocks. They also have a higher pressure gas charge.

If all you want to do is put Rubicon wheels and tires on your Sport, you don't need any kind of lift or suspension modification at all. It does look a little better though and will ensure that nothing rubs when you go down a rutted trail.

Another option is a 2" spacer lift. They come with extensions that allow you to use your stock shocks. But upgrading to a slightly taller shock is better. Even a Rancho 5000x is light years better than the stock black Sport shocks. Ranchos and a spacer lift would be around $500 or so.

Everything you need is right here:

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/rubicon-suspension-on-2-door-sport.40700/

Read through the entire thread. There are how to directions and a bunch of us stated spring part #'s and the amount of lift we received. This is specific to 2-doors, which means you won't get as much lift as a 2-door, but the process is the same.

You can also contact a company called @RubiTrux. They will make it all easy for you so that you can order what you need, vs watching eBay, Craigslist, etc and trying to guess what the right parts are. You will pay a little more though, but shipping is free.

To be honest, 4door to 4door spring swap is not worth the time and energy. If your intent is to get some lift, Rubicon springs aren’t necessarily
heavier springs as they are option dependent so this is not the way to go. Dual top, tow package, Hemi or Diesel will have heavier springs but your ride quality will suffer, you are using a heavier spring (higher spring rate) not a longer spring. Rubi shocks are better then Sport but not much.
The big picture, as suggested, buy a quality spacer lift for now to give space for bigger tires or save a buy a full lift kit.
