So I didn't notice this when I set my 2022 Sport S up, but I chose the technology group because it had a cabin filter, auto a/c, a few other things that appealed to me. 1 month after I ordered I realized that, as part of standard equipment under Safety & Security --> Locks & Keys, "Remote Keyless-Entry" is standard equipment. Yet an available option, and something included in the technology group option is "Remote-Proximity Keyless-Entry". What is the difference between these two, or is this just a scam to get folks to spend money on things they already purchased?

You just need to put your hand on the door handle to unlock with proximity. Proximity is awesome if hands are full etc and just nice to have. It works on front doors and tailgate.

Have to click the button on the fob otherwise.

Its cool to have, but I doubt I will ever lock my jeep. My TJ was a soft top my JLU will be a soft top... I rather they open the door and dig though my empty jeep than cut the top just to find nothing in tge jeep.
