Quadratec sent me a winch by mistake!

Has anyone had anything similar to this happen to them?

Last week I attempted to install my Warn Zeon 12S onto a Warn winch plate that I bought from Amazon, and the mounting holes were off by 1/8th inch.

Thinking that Amazon might have had a bad batch of winch plates, I placed a new order for one last Saturday from Quadratec.

Today Mr. FedEx arrived with my new Quadratec 10,000lbs Q-Performance Stealth Winch w/Synthetic Rope!

I called Quadratec and told them I would be happy to give it back if they could please have my new winch plate here by Saturday since I would like to get my winch mounted before I drop my Jeep off to get lifted on Monday.

Crossing my fingers that I will get a correctly manufactured winch plate on Saturday.

It is irritating, but definitely not the end of the world.

I ordered one pack of four hub centric ring spacers and they sent me four packs of four before… But a whole new winch as a mis-pick… That’s like hitting the Jeep parts lottery! ?

It is like, what are the odds? They must have either a dyslexic employee, an overworked employee, or someone who didn't give a shit. I was amazed that someone could get that order mixed up. As I said, it is irritating, but not the end of the world.

Damn! I see you exchanged it for an overnighted winch plate, but the funny thing about it is you're 100 percent legally entitled to keep it in the US.
