Dumb question fellas, but this is the first vehicle I've owned with Push-to-Start. In my wife's 2018 Lexus RX350, I just lightly push the start button and the starter turns over automatically. On my '24 Willys V6 6MT, if I lightly push the start button, the dash lights up but it doesn't engage the starter motor. I have to hold down the start button for it to turn over. Is that normal? Is it because I have a 6MT?

It is normal. It is desi8gned that way because there are a couple of operations (can't remember which at the moment) that require the vehicle to be in the run mode, but with the engine off.

Thanks for the replies. Glad to learn it's normal. Now if Jeep can just figure out this engine miss at 1700 rpm... :)
