Thanks for your response. It has been awhile and since Iā€˜ve done it only a couple of times, I do not remember with certainty, but I am pretty sure the 4x4 block of wood fit nicely on the axle tube in the space just to the passenger side of the front pumpkin. I was probably very careful when I did this. One more thought to maybe make this a little easier would be, as I think someone else said they did, to scoop out a section of my block so that it fit the axle tube pretty much like your perch.

Thanks for your response. Yea I didn’t have the means to easily form a wood block, so I just ordered the spring perch. Forgot where I saw that but I’m sure someone on the forum posted it!
