I just got my ProCal (don't care about all the extra stuff the Tazer offers).

I'm reading through the instructions and see they add a harness to pins 1 and 9 on the OBD connector.

As I look at my module, it almost looks like pin 1 is broken off. I can see where it comes off the circuit board but there isn't any pin coming up into the plug.

Before I go through the trouble of running the harness and plugging it in, I wanted to see if anyone else has one like this or not.

You can see pin 1 missing on the lower right.

I did send them a support request. Thought I'd ask here too since companies take a while to get on support requests.

Got a response from AEV. Definitely not right.

Bad part made it through whatever QC they have in place.

Not sure how much you want to spend, but you might want to consider a Tazer Lite if you just want to do basic things like tire size. There’s also JSCAN.
