Looks good after the drive, felt hot, no leaks. Will keep an eye on it for a couple of days and then will put the skid back on.

Guys, what's that 4-1? Could it be that the factory guys mistakenly mounted a Rubicon transfer case in my Willys?

Guys, the transfer case fill and drain plugs don't come to a stop when you turn them like the oil pan drain plug. Why?

Added some more thingies to my collection. Wish I had bought the inch pound torque wrench before the TC fluid change. I hope I haven't damaged it.
1/2 22mm for tire rotations and 3/8 adapter for my 1/2 gun.

Keep seeking assistance here, Mo, because you're still learning.

Today I saved like $300 by not going to a shop to get this job done. I invested in fishing tools and now I can fish in the future 🤩👍

But sadly today my CV boot blew up. I wish I could do this job too ☹

For your next fluid change I recommend using a flexible funnel. I changed the oil and transfer case fluid for my 392 this weekend. The flexible funnel helped keep the oil off of the track bar, drag link and tie rod when changing the filter. It also helped keep the transfer case fluid from ever touching the skid plate.

The one have is an ARES 56042 which seems to be discontinued. Whatever you buy make sure it has a hole in the upper corner. It helps to hang the funnel in tight spots. I used a bungee cord to keep mine in place when changing the filter. The FIRSTINFO F3555B looks identical to what I have.
