I just took mine in for the first of two estimates. I've located at least 10 spots showing blisters. So far it looks like it is going to be taken care of.

I could only vote once, but 2 of our 3 have corrosion issues.

Yep, could only vote once also(this is an issue as many members have multiple Jeeps or have had multiple model years).

My 19 Mojito JLR had this issue, it’s why I traded it on my 22 Sting Grey JLR, which currently has no issues. I have zero faith that Jeep has this issue sorted and I’m sure the issue will pop up again on my current Jeep within a couple years.

2019 here, it's been driven in everything, even salt, BUT, this thing gets rinsed immediately, as in pronto after returning from a journey. Even if it has been in the rain, I'll still rinse it with fresh water.

Also, there has been so much accumulation of Fluid Film over the course of these few years of spraying it, that I'm sure it would register on a scale if I were to weigh the Jeep ?.

Yes, I sprayed my hinges even?(and yes I sprayed from the inside of the door as well ?), and next time I'm sprayin them in the middle of summer under a hot sun, and let that stuff seep even nice n deeper.

Call me idiot, call me whateva, couldn't care less, I do love experiments, and so far, my hinges are Mint! ?

I’ve often wondered if corrosion-x would work, as that is what they use on aircraft to slow down galvanic corrosion. I’ve never seen fluid film used on airplanes but my experience is limited…

I do the same with Bullfrog Fast wax with rust blocker. If my 2021 gets it there is no hope for any of us.After a wash I blow the water out of the hinges with a leaf blower.....lol.This issue is my number one fear with the JL.

So you didn’t learn from your first experience? My 3 year old Rubicon is still bubble free…but I am done with Jeep if/when this starts. Tesla has been building cars with aluminum panels for years…with no corrosion problems…and Tesla is certainly not known for high quality. Jeep should have the expertise to address but has chosen not to….

Sure I did, I traded it, LOL. ?.

The lesson I’ve learned is to not waste my time.

I get it, it’s unacceptable. I agree wholeheartedly.

I’m an old fart and the idea of waiting weeks for a repair(that I might not be happy with) didn’t make me grin ear to ear, so I swapped it for a new one that did.

My history with Jeeps goes back just under 50 years, so incompetence and issues with the brand aren’t new to me. When you get a problematic one, kick it aside. When you get a great one, keep it. I’ve only got 14,000 miles on the 22, but it’s optioned exactly the way I want(19 JLR wasn’t) and so far it’s a hoot. Unless Jeep offers up a 2 DR 396, this one’s a keeper and will wind up next the TJ in my keepers pile. If/when it bubbles up, I’ll have the whole damn thing Line-Xed and call it a day.

I had to vote no because my hinges are fine; however my hood is a different story. It’s bubbling around the leading edge and the drivers side edge near the latch. ?

I voted "no" for my 21 but I pulled my hinges off and had them Linex'd when it was like 6 months old and before any corrosion issues could even start.

This poll won't be valid for much other than anecdotally though. Sample bias is very strong on an online forum such as this.

its interesting nonetheless though.
