@JeepCares I've take phenomenal care of my JL Wrangler and this issue is affecting every one of my doors. I'm a few months out of my factory warranty, have an extended warranty, and both Jeep and Mopar are telling me to pound sand. Pretty I wasn't notified by Jeep/Mopar about the TSB's due to the known manufacturing defect. What can I do?

@JeepCares There are so many of us that had the vehicle "repaired" multiple times, and the problem just came back. My Jeep was repainted 3 times by two different shops, and still the problem came back. And unfortunately this was done before your guidance to dealerships to replace panels and use zinc backed hinges. I'm well outside of warranty now, 2018 and just over 90k mileage, and the value of my Jeep has suffered greatly because it's now several different shades of orange as the paint match can't keep up with the fading original paint. I'd like to trade for a new Jeep now, but the value of this one has deteriorated so badly because of the horrible look of corrosion, and mis-matched paint everywhere.

Just found paint bubbling on my 2020. Hard to tell you how well it's taken care of ... ceramic coated the week I bought it, gets washed indoors weekly, and it goes garage to garage when it's used generally. I guess I thought this only happened to people that didn't take care of them ... wrong!

I don't have an extended warranty. Do I have any case here or is it just too old?

I believe you have a 5 year corrosion warranty. Tag JeepCares and they should ask you for the last 8 digits of your VIN, and they can tell you if the warranty is still valid. Or call your dealership.

Well the corrosion issue got my Jeep as well. I ordered my 21 JLUR exactly how I wanted it and we primarily use it for our camping / family adventures (39k now). I noticed 2 weeks ago a big bubble under the Rubicon sticker on the hood and upon further inspection noticed a pinky nail sized bubble on the ps front door right at the edge. I set up an appt to get it looked at by a Jeep body shop and we have bubbling on all doors / 5 hinges and the hood. Jeep gave authorization to replace all door hinges and the hood.

My next door neighbor him and his wife both own JL's - 2019 & 2020. They both have an insane amount of paint bubbling do to this issue. My buddy with the 2020 his paint warranty ran out last Nov per Jeep so he is SOL.

Sorry to hear you’re part of this club. I reopened my case with @JeepCares for my 2018 to see if they will offer anything because I can’t afford to trade it in or pay for the repairs. I was visiting my Sister in-law in Canada and she also has the bubbling paint on the door hinges. I’ve been driving Jeeps for 35 plus years and this is a travesty for the brand.
