Hell, I took my rig immediately from AEV in Michigan to Missouri and scratched the fuck out of it on day three. Just get it out of the way so it's no longer a concern.I mean I'm sure if you don't give a shit about your paint like I don't, then yeah probably lots of people have them.
Everyone I know likes to keep their paint pristine for whatever reason.
I got some nice pinstripes on the passenger side of my Wrangler on my second trip to the off-road park. So I mean if you're looking for tight trails, I know a few! Go find you an ATV trail, drive your Jeep down that!
I think they're definitely pinstriping locations available here in Texas, like I said though I don't think many people want to get them though. I don't get it myself, I mean if it looks like a fun drive, I'm going down it!
So, it's normally a $40 @CavFab_mfg Hawse Fairlead Winch Mounting Plate Ultra, except this one was a display model, which brings it down to $20, and to add the icing on the cake, they had it powder coated in silver, for the same $20 because it was their display model.
If I were to get one of these powder coated, it would cost me about $80. So where I live, this is a $120 (total) winch mountain plate, for $20!
I'm honestly shocked it wasn't gone the second they listed it! I guess people like spending unnecessary amounts of money for something of equal quality they could get for less.
The mesh actually has an interesting look, it's enough to keep the zombies out anyways.Got the plates and the grates in.
Got to run to the hardware store and pick up some larger washers for the grate.
Then I'll take the plate off and paint it, and tighten down the bolts on the grate, later tonight I'll reinstall the plate and I'll be done with this section of the Jeep!
