What crazy fru-fru coffee are you spending $17 on?what's an extra $17 ever month. That's the cost of a trip to Starbucks.

My sweetheart was getting us starbucks regularly. I had never asked how much it was. Imagine my surprise when I learned how much a Cookie Fuckachino (yes I joke about it enough that i called it at the register, props to the cashier who knew what I wanted lol) and Cold Brew are. A pack a day habbit is cheaper than starbucks...That's not an incorrect statement.
Venti Java Chip Frappuccino with Peppermint.
It's more of a sugar shake than it is a coffee drink.
It's the only drink I purchase there. Been buying it for like the last decade at least. It was a holiday seasonal drink back in like 2008 or something, and I've been buying it ever since.
I believe it's like $7, couple that with my wife getting whatever drink she gets, a cake pop for the kids, and a food item and you're looking at a $30 bill!![]()
Caramel is one of life’s greatest gifts. It's funny because all the most redneck people I know all go to Starbucks and get these frilly fruity drinks. And they swear by it too!
Eh, it's the little things in life!
Thanks so much for the encouragement! Looks like there are 53 pages to go through to get caught up!

Definitely recommend the stage 2 tune! I have noticed that a lot of people are having issues with the red security light after installing tunes. However, I have also noticed that most people are installing their trans tunes with cords that plug in under the steering wheel. The included cables I received from MRTuning had an extension that reached to a port behind the glove box. No Red light (unless I use the remote start) and everything performs flawlessly. I even gained 3 mpg.At this point I'm saving my factory PCM for my stage 2 tune. The stage 1 tune I currently have is kind of just saving my engine in the meantime. Once I get the stage 2, there's no turning back!
Things keep coming up that keep pushing off the stage 2 tune, but for sure I will have it by next year at maximum!
I'm down for getting together and having some beers, but I'll pass on cloning my factory PCM for now.
The best beers are the ones at home, and only made better by beers with friends!!
Taking the long view, there might be an opportunity here for someone with a 3D printer. You'll want to cover the exposed holes on the door's exterior after the OEM mirror is removed, so as to prevent water and dirt from working its way inside the door assembly. Finally just went through with it and ordered this guy. Not sure what this means for my drivers side factory (door mounted) mirror, because I won't need it anymore.

Tangentially, Bestop really crapped the bed when they refused to offer their Core doors for the JL-gen Wrangler, despite their almost-2 year tease (see p. 11 of the linked thread.) The market's willingness to pay big $$ for the OEM option should have done nothing but convince them that their half doors were a sure bet. Ah, well. You know it's kind of crazy, you'd think after these Jeeps be on the market for 5 years now, that someone would have made a plug specifically for the JL side mirrors. There's like 40 companies that make them for the JK's, but zero companies that make them for the JL's.
You know the first company to come out with one for the JL is going to make a freaking fortune because they're the only one on the market with it.
It’s really pretty simple. Plug and play. I don’t tow either, but I could tell the difference with the trans tune as far as acceleration goes. I did the trans tune first… then the ecm, then straight pipe, just to experience the difference of each one. I would definitely recommend the trans tune, especially if you’re going to stage 2. Note: my Jeep is for off road use only.I'm kind of up in the air about whether I'm going to get a trans tune. I do like the idea of having that feature one of the guys on here was explaining where he never uses his brake because the trans tune includes a engine-brake-like feature (I think technically it just drops RPMs faster than normal and that's what causes the vehicle to slow down more quickly). But I don't tow and I honestly probably will never tow. If I ever do tow I'm going to be doing it with a different vehicle than my Wrangler. But if I were to get the trans tune, I'd send it off to my tuner as well and have them do it on the PCM itself. I'm with you I've never liked the idea of plugging it in and doing it myself, just seems possibly problematic. Rather pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it to the computer itself.
Yeah I can't wait to get that tune back when I do order it. Though I'll probably wait until a better "climate" to install it. It's one of those things where it's difficult to install it and clear out all the stuff you need to get rid of, but reversing it so I understand is a ****ing *****. Something I'd rather not have to reverse, and I'm not at a point in my life where I can make my Jeep off-road only. So it might be sitting on my shelf for a while, the stage 2.![]()

It’s literally plug and play. You don’t have to “edit” the tune or select what to clear. It’s a very simple process. I highly recommend the trans tune as well. You can tell a big difference in acceleration. I installed all 3 components separately and drove the jeep to note the performance differences. First I did the trans tune, then the stage 2 ecm, (same day) followed by the straight pipe (following weekend). I wouldn’t change a thing and actual wish I would’ve done this a long time ago. One.Is Hillbilly one word or two?![]()
Will it fold itself and spring back like the standard one does when you inadvertantly smack into a tree? Yeah, I did that yesterday on Red Elephant. Some of the trails around here are incredibly tight.![]()

I'm sure I'll find something stupid to replace the factory drivers side mirror with! Probably wait a couple weeks to make sure these aftermarket ones don't fall off, but then we'll see. FAIR GAME!

That being said I'm going to mess around with my passenger side hole this week and see what might work best.![]()
