It gets wet even with the windows up, so I figure, why fight it? Enjoy it for what it is

Introducing the JKJLU Wrangler!!!!
Going bumperless for a minute, will apply something to it later this week to keep it legal.
The LEDs underneath the headlights are my turn signals, the fender lights are side marker lights only.
I was just going to suggest a 2x6 as a temporary solution for the front bumper. You could even put a nice stain on it!Yeah the red horns will be coming back whenever I get my next hood.
The winch as well, once I get that aluminum L-beam from McMaster-Car. Probably order it maybe this month, I don't know, we'll see.
To keep it legal I need something to go between those two metal frame pieces sticking out, otherwise it's really not considered a bumper. And in Texas you need a front bumper to keep it legal. So I'm just going to hit up home Depot after work and pick up some cheap wood or something. I don't know I'm still kicking around some ideas. I like the idea of Kim dried wood covered in truck bed liner, but we'll see.. again it would only be temporary until I get that aluminum L-Beam.

I haven't found anything that says that bumpers are required in Texas. Blowing coal apparently is, but I can't find anything about bumpers. To keep it legal I need something to go between those two metal frame pieces sticking out, otherwise it's really not considered a bumper. ......and perhaps add bumper ropeI was just going to suggest a 2x6 as a temporary solution for the front bumper. You could even put a nice stain on it!![]()
You could attach accessories anywhere you want with a set of deck screws!
No worries about rust or corrosion, just need to treat for termites and carpenter antsā¦.Jokes aside, that's actually one of the ideas I was kicking around.
Legitimately, not a bad idea!
If I lived in Canada, that's the way I would roll 24/7!
As long as you use Robertson screws.Jokes aside, that's actually one of the ideas I was kicking around.

Every time I see it, "The Streetbeater" begins playing in my head.Every time I see your name @Tredsdert I just imagine Pig Pen in an above ground pool filled with dirt flailing his arms around "Treading Dert".
I really messed with my wife in November 2022 when she took out Fido with her 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. To keep it legal I need something to go between those two metal frame pieces sticking out, otherwise it's really not considered a bumper. So I'm just going to hit up home Depot after work and pick up some cheap wood or something.
