That is your fender flare with factory applied protective film. You will want to add protective film to your 4 door hinges.

You do have door locks though. Earlier model years had a hatch lock too but newer like yours, no.

Thanks for the clarification I had gotten the door hinges mixed up with what you were talking about.

Both 2 and 4 door, just do a search. I have them on my 4 door. You can see them in this picture.

No, did a lot of fitting before I applied the tape.

Strange - my Rubicon is a 2020. I was simply trying to show and example of the door lock cover. Didn't have the door pic handy, but you get the idea since same lock.

I purchased a cheap set off of ebay (around $20) and they have held up great for the 2 years that I have had my jeep!

I got the rigged ridge ones. I had an air gap on the passenger side for a little while but it went away with time. Just need to let the rubber door seal reform.

I went aftermarket for mine. I considered the mopar ones. But looking at them they didn't seem to have good coverage and my gf tends to step on the sill to get in and so does my dog. To avoid rust, I wanted max coverage. Bushwacker makes a pretty great set, however they're on the pricy end. I ended up going with rugged ridge, good coverage, rolls over the sill edge for full coverage and great full length. Secured on with 3m tape, haven't had an issue in the 6 months I've had it on with relatively heavy use of it with no slipping or separation. I'd highly recommend. I can't express the better coverage enough over mopar and substantially cheaper too. So win win. If you want maximum coverage, look into Bushwacker though. If I ever change the rugged ridge, it'll be for those
