35/12.50’s on stock 7.5” wheels are even with the fenders—perfect IMO ?
For me it depends on the vehicle size, the width of the axles, width of the fenders, etc. I find that I like wide tires when they don't stick out at all from under the fenders.
Same here ?

I considered 35/11.50’s to avoid the possibility of poke, but for some strange reason they are 63lbs and the 12.50’s are 59lbs (both Toyo AT3 C) don’t think I would have liked them as much seeing the 12.50’s mounted.

Looks good. Do you know what the back spacing is on your wheels?

Offset calculator = 6” - reportedly the same offset/ size/ width as standard Rubi wheels.

There is a new video out that is absolutely worth a watch -- it's a meticulous comparison of the aired down characteristics of the identical Baja Boss tire in 315/70/17 vs 255/85/17. Spoiler:

- The narrow and wide tires have the exact same area of contact patch at all PSI
- The narrow tire flexes more over both narrow and wide rocks.
- The narrow tire outperforms the wide tire.

I just watched this video yesterday and subscribed to the channel after watching. It's a great video!

Great video, great study, thank you for sharing it. ?

I hope in the future there will be more pizza cutters to choose from, both AT's and MT's.

I just watched it today too. It was a great experiment. Kai did a lot of work to perform this study. He mentions liking the way the wider tires look but, in the end, he chose the pizza cutters.

nice looking. I’ve been eyeing the AT3 in 35/11.5 for mine and this size Is a C with load range of 2,910 lbs. the 35/12.5 which weighs 59lbs is a C2 load and the load range is about 500lbs less.

Thanks— I can stop wondering. Perhaps something different but similar why the 285/70 C&E are both listed at 55 lbs and the OWL E at 53 lbs that really didn’t make sense .

IIRC I think they even have a SL rated version that's in the high 40lb range.

Yep—46, and makes sense. An OWL E rated 2 lbs lighter than a C and another the same defies reality. ??‍♂
