There are studies about how the color of car that people buy corresponds to the strength of the economy. Not being political at all, but since we're heading into (already in?) a recession it's not surprising that the brighter colors are disappearing. Just glad I got my hydro before it was gone!

That's actually pretty fascinating, but makes some sense. Explains why Europe is always drab in its car and clothing color choices and the United States ebbs and flows. Having lived in England, Germany (3 times), Belgium, and Austria, I can speak to that from personal experience. On a positive note, I am all in on bright, uplifting colors! Mojito lovers, unite and bring on the sunshine!

I was tasked with ordering a 392 as a raffle prize. After several attempts, the order finally accepted was silver zenith with no options. Still a fine looking Jeep that will be raffled off on December 17, 2202 at the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk to benefit the First Flight Society.

That's great and all... but by 2202 who's going to be around to drive it, and where will they be able to fill it up???

Ordered Stingray spray can from Moparparts a few weeks back and was told it's on backorder and do I want to cancel. I'll ride it out and see if it ever comes. Crazy times were in.

I heard they will start sending the Jeeps out to the customers unpainted early next month and when the paint comes in they'll just send you out a bucket of the color of your choice and a 9" roller along with a 2" and a 1/2" brush so you can paint it yourself
Not everyone has an air compressor so they chose this route
Just a rumor I'm sure ?

Could go with streaked rusty brown over the aluminum and go the Rat Rod look...
