Paint colors not available??

Lol, oddly enough I just got my touch up pen from Mopar today for my Gobi. I ordered it a while ago, forgot all about it actually. I ordered some wheels in desert tan that have a few tiny blemishes on them, so I'll touch them up with that :D Still need 3 more though before I mount them...

I was tasked with ordering a 392 as a raffle prize. After several attempts, the order finally accepted was silver zenith with no options. Still a fine looking Jeep that will be raffled off on December 17, 2202 at the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk to benefit the First Flight Society.

Weirdly some colors don't offer the color-matched top either. So they can paint the truck that color but not the top...

I am going out on a limb here, I think he was kidding. I get it, not everyone understands humor. A lot of people can turn anything, and I mean absolutely anything, into politics or an argument. But I really think he was kidding. I hope this makes you feel better.

I'm happy I got the ember pearlcoat before it discontinued. To me, it gives me everything I want...conservative colors (looks black at night and in the shade) until I'm directly in the sun, then it shows very pearl (purple)!!

But these interest rates, though. Ugh...

If you believe the dealership this isn't new. My first choice was the dag blang orange color they had in 2021. For the life of me now I can't remember the name of it.

Not the point though. The point is when I ordered mine the dealership told me if I ordered that color I would be waiting indefinitely. Why? Because they fricken outsourced some of the chemicals in the paint to, you guessed it china. They own the patents and we're not making the stuff.

Could be the same issue now. I really wish we, the US would stop outsourcing everything. Some stuff, ok, but does it have to be so much.

Oh and yes, also proud to not be in the silver,white,gray,black, group. Not dogging on anyone in this group though.

Truth for me I like all the colors. However I have owned 6 white vehicles, so I just didn't want another white anything.

The one color I have to say I really like is the silver zenith. I never saw it up close until I had mine already. But I have to give jeep credit, it is not your normal silver. Up close it is beautiful, a lot of metal flake in it and it really looks different from every other silver I have seen our there.

We are almost ready to pull the plug on Phoenix. It's been good to us but as I get older the lack of 4 seasons and dealing with the heat of the summer is getting to us. I think Tennessee or Kentucky are calling us. I have a black bus and it gets unbearably hot when it is 80 out. Need to keep A/C's on almost all year while it's parked.

you can always come to Maryland, we have a new season every week. We are looking into the Carolinas for our next chapter.

Speaking of which, has anyone done a clear wrap on their Jeep, or are you considering a wrap (full or partial)? I have been thinking about doing a clear, non-matte, wrap, but I don't see it has really needed. Anyone done any other research or have thoughts on this?

We went with a light desaturated green for our bus, and painting the roof with a elastomeric white cool coating to help with summer heat. Have you looked into coating the roof of your bus with tropicool or a similar product?

It’s white. The sidewalls are where the heat comes in even though it’s all spray foamed.
