2021 2 door Rubicon. Custom ordered in March of 2021 and delivered the following July. In excellent condition, 3.6 V6 with hard to find six speed manual transmission. The Hydro Blue is stunning over the black cloth interior. Always garaged, dealer serviced with synthetic oil. Under 7,900 miles...
So with the open manual transmission recall, some states you can't reregister them? Does that prevent us from selling them?
While I haven't had any issues with our 2021 JLR let alone the manual transmission, I'd welcome a new clutch assembly to get this issue behind us. Perhaps they will even...
I was initially attracted to the classic look of a two door jeep. I was thrilled that it fit into our super shed/golf cart sized garage and I bought it. It's a joy to park and even shorter than our 2017 Miata!
I was tasked with ordering a 392 as a raffle prize. After several attempts, the order finally accepted was silver zenith with no options. Still a fine looking Jeep that will be raffled off on December 17, 2202 at the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk to benefit the First Flight Society.
The JLR is my retirement vehicle. I drive it around town to and to the beach 2/3s of the time. Drive the former "going to the airport for work car" on longer trips. It's a 2017 retractable fastback Miata GT. Averages mid 30's mpg and close to 40 mpg on longer trips. My wife drives a newer Ridgeline.
After almost a year from picking our JLR up, the top finally went down. Spent the day crusing the roads on the Outer Banks of NC listening to tunes and stopping to eat some great seafood. Life is good.
Use my 2017 RF Miata for trips, the mpg is in the 34-38 range but uses premium. The Jeep is used for travels to the beach and around town. For self abuse at the gas pumps, we fill up our old Corvette with three deuces.
First time Wrangler owner who only ordered 3 major options on our 6 speed JLR. The premium soft top, painted fenders and heated seats/steering wheel. The minor options were floor/cargo mats and plastic door sills.
While I haven't used them much, the heated seats are the best that I've experienced.
Newbie JLR owner that just purchased a passenger side M.O.R.E Hide-a-Step for my 5' 1" spouse. She said that the step could be extended a bit more but it's made a big difference getting in and out.
It's heavy, well built, clean looking and was installed by my garage in less than an hour. We...
How long did it take from factory to dealer? 2 weeks or so. We were traveling and knew that we wouldn't be back in time to pick up right away.
How was your experience? Top Notch
How long did it take after your arrival at dealer to driving off with your Jeep? 2 hours.
How was your vehicles...
We took delivery on an almost identical JLR as you did plus cold weather, painted fenders, soft top window storage bag and floor/cargo mats. Drove 600 miles round trip plus one night in the hotel a few weeks ago. The OTD price was $40,736.
We were on road for 4 of 5 weeks. I didn’t have the time to track this closely other than it showed up at the dealership two weeks sooner than expected. Then it sat waiting for us to get back home, regroup and pick it up.
