Got back from a week long adventure in Ouray, CO. It's my new favorite place on the planet. The views are stunning.

It's one of my favorites, I'm sure your Boston liked also..
Yep. We both had a blast. It's funny, I was shitting my drawers on Engineer Pass going 25 degrees off-camber towards the ledge and he's in the back snoring.

what are all of the trails are featured in these pics? We are heading to Ouray in September.

My dogs were the same last week on Engineer, Imogene, and Cinnamon.

They think I’m God. Nothing could possibly go wrong with Joe in charge.

I don’t deserve that level of trust, but I nevertheless

I just edited the original and put the trails on them. Let me know if you have any questions before you go. My biggest piece of advice would be to join Trailsoffroad.com and download all of the GPX tracks. Then get Gaia GPS and upload all the GPX files. Then download the maps for offline use. This saved me a couple of times. Some of the trails aren't marked very well and intersect with other county roads.

So true. Is that a German Shorthair Pointer? My first dog as a kid was a GSP - Daisy

Nice! I'm planning to be up that way in October. Was thinking of renting a Jeep and doing some stuff up there.

Funny...I was also up there the 6th-11th.

Beautiful scenery but the wheeling is lame. Montrose is where you want to head for fun that's near that area and more similar in climate.
Yeah, the trails aren't all that technical, but you don't have to be breaking shit to have a good time. At least for me anyway.

I was out there last month. We go every year and do all the trails. It's funny how you said it's your favorite place because I said the exact same thing.

And 100% agree that the Ouray trails are amazing. I'll take that any day over banging my Jeep off rocks at Holy Cross. The scenery and area are amazing.

Love the mellow dog ! My Aussie would be out there biting the Jeep and herding it up the trail !
