On Board Air Setups?

I have this exact setup. It is perfect imo. The dual compressor is nice, but honestly the single is fine for airing up. The switch panel is awesome. Looks factory and is a super clean under the hood. Makes wiring accessories so easy.

how was the wiring for this switch panel? is it pretty straight forward and plug and play? or is it a little more complex since its built into the dash center panel? I haven't actually looked inside that empty cubby hole and just put gum and ez pass in there. I have my radio mounted on my overhead molle panel and wired thru the top windshield panel down to the A pilar, etc

Thats the compressor I got, but I decided to go portable with mine so I could swap it between vehicles etc.

I have an arb twin under the driver seat. Drilled a hole in the floor drain plug and ran 3/8" line with a schrader valve to each wheel well. I have 4 short hoses that connect to each tire, turn my ac on high and direct it to the floor vents to keep the compressor cool, then I hit my aux button to turn on the compressor.

Damn talk about a convenient set up. Do you have your lines hidden under the carpet?

30A and below can be wired to a rear 7-pin trailer plug if you have the HD package.

I've done no research, but like this plan and have that compressor. I don't like having to open the hood. Define HD package? I have a 2020 JLURR with Trailer Tow package.

I also went with the AAL rear storage tub mount and remote hook up for the air chuck and air filters. I use the VOSwitch for power and run that to the arb switch since the remote kit has a spot for it. I power on up front. Then hit the power switch in the back to actually turn on the compressor. I could go
I’m about redundancy or safety or what ever lol. But I only did it this was just because it was there. Hahaha

But the remote mount does hinder soft top lowering. A tiny bit more than my Tuffy security trunk did. But I just remove one filter if I lower my stock top. I’m going to the bestop nx slant back soon so it won’t be an issue after that.

thanks for sharing all these pictures! Yeah....... i didn't think about the soft top being lowered all the way down ? not that i do it often BUT I like having that option, hence why I have a soft top. How was the wiring for the VOSwitch?

ARB twin on the M.O.R.E. cargo mount with an integrated spot on top to attach the power toggle switch that comes with the compressor. I used an 18" (.5 meter) Teflon stainless hose to remote mount the coupler. This allows the air a chance to cool down, so that the coupler isn't pistol hot after airing up. It also saves having to lean into the cargo area to hook/unhook hoses. The compressor itself is wired directly to the main battery, and the ARB switch is wired to the hot with ignition wire in the factory aux wire bundle under the glove box.

I also wanted more aux switches, and I wanted them in an easier to reach on the fly spot for various lighting. I opted for the SwitchPros SP9100 switch panel and controller, along with the a-pillar grab handle mount.

Yeah I'm headed into the Portable ARB twin unit. I'm only going to use it .002% of the time of drive time so why waste the space and wiring.

Easy. One wire into the cab. I came in thru the drivers side cowl and under windshield. Had to inbolt windshield and push forward an inch or so. Then under dash to where the switches mount. Box is mounted under hood. Run power and ground across top of fire wall to the battery.

Went this route with mine a year ago and it has been great. Limited to the ARB single and the 2.0T engine however..

I have a 2019 2.0L turbo with twin ARB from Grimm. Works great. Had it for two years. They had an underhood install video. Maybe when I get my Jeep back from the dealership (3 weeks now) I can give a pic.

ARB twin mounted behind the passenger seat with Innovative AT mount and 4-way inflation hose. Very happy with this setup.

Behind the passenger seat? I don't think that I've seen that before.
