Off road + is for quicker throttle response in both 4Hi and 4Lo.
That's exactly the opposite of how it works on my '22JLUXR. For me in 4LO, it degains the throttle response, and takes more throttle pedal movement for power application, smoothing out the jerkiness when crawling. First time I used it it felt like a slipping transmission and I didn't care for it much, but after lots of use, I really love it. Wonder if it got recalibrated somehow in newer models.

By my read it should be slower throttle response in 4L and quicker throttle response in 4H.

Thank you. I missed that in the manual. It felt more snappy in 4Lo to me.

In 4lo it has the opposite effect allowing for smoother throttle inputs.
My rig is at the dealership dealing with a few things prior to its warranty expiring. I probably should have had them look at that too.

Thanks for mentioning that sand on Poison Spider. You made me realize that the first time I did it a couple years ago it was intimidating, but hell, I didn't even notice it the last two times (once in the backwards direction and once in the usual). Kind of weird. Maybe that's due to playing on the Oregon dunes so much?

OffRoad+ is supposed to reduce throttle response in 4lo, right? In my JLURD it seems to increase it exactly like in 4hi.
I would imagine practicing on the coastal dunes definitely helps! And yeah…. Yours isn’t working right in 4low, it sounds like.

Jeepless at the moment.
In the 392 off-road+ really wakes it up. Shifts very crisply, holds gears, unlocks the torque launch starts, lots more popping and snarling from the exhaust. Basically sport mode.
