I just got home from the Jeep dealer after getting the TSB manual download for Offroad Pages, etc. installed. Everything seems to be working fine for the moment. It's nice to finally see the Offroad Pages after nearly 9 months of ownership. I just hope everything stays working, but I have low expectations! I went into the service department a few days prior to my appointment and provided them with the TSB number so the tech could go ahead and download it to a flash drive in the meantime and be ready when I showed up. It took him 2 tries using the provided instructions to get it to finally download (he said something in the instructions wasn't correct) but on the second try it began to download. I was there for 2 hours just to install it and so far so good.

Well, the offroad pages was nice while it lasted. I had the dealership apply the TSB for the download and manual install about a week ago and noticed today that the ORP is now gone. On top of that my ESS and Auto Park is disabled and requiring service.

I have an stealership appt tomorrow to replace missing plastic trim pieces on my roll-bar and called today to ask if they had the TSB already downloaded. The person on the phone started off rude saying "Of course we have access to all TSB's blah blah..." I told him that I just wanted to make sure the file was downloaded and ready to go so when I arrived for my 7 AM appt I wouldn't be there for hours. I am 100% sure that tomorrow I will arrive and no one will know anything about this :headbang:

I just came back from the dealership and they couldn't install the update via flash drive. He said the flash drive update isn't compatible with my Jeep. Seriously? He said you have the top of the line Jeep, the update is for the lower grade ones. Seriously? I'm not making this up

Its been 10 months since I've owned my Jeep and it's been without the off-road pages. I'm still alive. I'll just keep on keeping on......Without what my Jeep should have come with.

Screw you off-road pages!

I have a case with someone at Uconnect who knows what that even means and they called me in December saying that in early January a Uconnect update would be coming out that you could get online. They have since walked this back and now it appears only dealers can do the install. The problem is that it seems no one tells the service people about these TSBs until someone comes in asking for it. It is really cringe worthy to see how Jeep and Uconnect handle electronic/infotainment things...

Hi Man-of-methods,

We apologize for any confusion on part of your dealer - the Off-Road Pages update should apply to any 2018 JL with the 8.4 NAV Uconnect system (Sales Code UAQ) that is missing the pages on their screen, and it will bring the software level up to 21.10. We would be happy to ensure this is performed for you, and please private message us so we can assist.

I have an appt tomorrow with my local dealership to look at my Stop/Start issue and the Off road pages. They take good care of me there so ill give them a chance to resolve it before i engage you guys. Unless you are using this opportunity to determine root cause and i can share my results.

Got my Off Road Pages installed yesterday! They are awesome but, now my Navigation app won’t load. It gets stuck at ā€œloading navigationā€. The dealership is working with their support to see what might have happened. They said I may need ANOTHER flash or maybe a new radio.

The Cherokee has them. Maybe you could trade both your Wranglers in for 2019 Cherokees.

I seriously doubt pm'ing you guys would help me get my Jeep's Uconnect system updated. My service rep said that's what FCA told him and a Jeepcares rep named Joe is supposedly helping. Is there something you can do that he isn't doing? I just don't believe you, sorry and thanks. I've been lied to too many times and I've wasted two days off of work to take my Jeep in for this update. I've got bills to pay and I'd like to not be wasting my time, know what I mean?

Well, it's been a week now with the TSB download to fix the ORP's and the other isssues. Sorry to report our radio is still cutting in and out and just works when it feels like it. So much for that. Guess I'll be making another trip to the dealer.....this is starting to get really old!

Finally got the USB update done. My dealer was cool since they didn't have any openings to get me in, they let me borrow the thumb drive and do the install at home following instructions in the TSB... worked perfectly... the update includes new nav maps also, that's why the file size is so large...

The nav is quicker to respond now, no more dragging at the loading screens like it did before.

I did have the ghosting screen image but it's supposed to go away after the modules all go to sleep after 45-60 minutes... I haven't gone back out to check it yet...
