Off Road Pages Update Status...

Just a heads up to anyone needing to get the TSB done for the software update. I suggest calling the dealer and make sure they have the file downloaded to a flash drive before heading in.

It’s a 10GB file and appears like the server is being overloaded and taking a long time to download. My appointment was today... now I’m heading back again tomorrow after the download is complete. Maybe others will have better luck. At least the end is in sight. Lol

Offroad pages installed and working. As DjMatt85 said, give the dealership warning ahead of time. I was already there getting a lift kit installed so i figured why not. The TSB calls for 2.3 Hours of time which includes the download of the large file. Once the file is downloaded and extracted on a thumb drive, the process probably takes about 30 minutes or less. Had i scheduled and appt and had them download the file first it wouldn't have taken a little over 2 hours.

Couple of questions for you... do you have the 8.4 NAV? Also, did you list the correct TSB 08-001-19?

Otherwise, the dealer is full of it. Customer service at its finest. Smh

I'd PM @JeepCares about this to get some help from above. Clearly that dealer doesn't know what they are doing and appears to be too lazy to check the TSB number/code.

Yeah I have the 8.4 Navi. Uconnect was the people that told me the update was available cause I made a support ticket with them. I attached the email

Yea, I would go in and ask to speak with the Service Manager. IMO it’s messed up threatening to charge you when they are the ones that made the mistake. Or just go to a different dealer (if you have another one close by).

It was a pcm flash for the Pacifica and they said it had nothing to do for the off rod pages. It said it was for the something about the driving module.

Hey alexyu650,

The JORP update should be able to be applied to affected vehicles under warranty, and please send us a PM so we can take a closer look.

I'd PM @JeepCares about this to get some help from above. Clearly that dealer doesn't know what they are doing and appears to be too lazy to check the TSB number/code.

Went in yesterday morning to do this TSB. They said the download was going to take a very long time so they sent me home rather than tie me up all day. Took more than 4 hrs for the download fro the Jeep servers to a USB. Going in this am to have it applied to the Jeep. Will post back that experience and how long it took.

Took 2 hours to download from USB stick to the Jeep. I now have Off Road Pages. One odd thing I notices is if I have the gauges open in ORP, the Oil Temp in dash lags behind the ORP reading. ORP said 185 degrees, center dash said 183 degrees and then about 1 minute later the dash matched ORP. Weird. You'd think the two displays would be synched.

Friday: 9 hours at the dealership and they get "USB error"!
And the drivers seat won't fold back!
Not my day...

Update Tuesday: well the Jeep is still in the shop with supposedly bad drivers seat rails with an ETA of 2 weeks!
and the USB update still is not working...
Nice Cherokee loaner but I want my Rubi!

Well, the offroad pages was nice while it lasted. I had the dealership apply the TSB for the download and manual install about a week ago and noticed today that the ORP is now gone. On top of that my ESS and Auto Park is disabled and requiring service.
