When you use your turn signals do they just flash white? Can you post a video by any chance?

Thanks in advance!!!
Yes they do, the original glass bulb is amber. The new LED unit is not, nor a switchback (amber to white to amber) when activated. I will post a quick vid tomorrow.

Humm wonder if I should wait for the Mopar LED replacement or just change the bulb to LED like this?

Props to you OP! awesome that you found a cheaper alternative and as long as no oncoming vehicles are flashing you, this is a great solution :like:

Auxbeam H13 LED bulbs are a cheap and easy install for only $32.99.

https://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Head...88447&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=auxbeam+h13&psc=1

The Mopar LED headlights are $800. P/N 82215136.

So I wonder if adding the Mopar LED headlights to the Sport, if you can program the halo for DRL. The Sport and Sport S do not have DRL standard.

Maybe Jeep will add LED option for Sport and Sport S in 2019. :fingerscrossed:

Itessor,
Have you experienced any subtle or severe light flickering out of the headlights or fog lights? When I read some amazon reviews, a slight flicker was a complaint I read.

Also, a week or so later, how have these been greeted on the road by passing vehicles? Any flashing or issues ?
Thanks

All items below sourced from Amazon & Ebay. No fast blink adapters needed (Shocked) and beyond expectations when installed. Great night time coverage and all same color match. Light bar connected to AUX 3 button - 15 amp lead.

All aftermarket LED upgrades
How dare you save so much money! I wonder what the cutoff and pattern look like? More pics/vids?

What about OEM LED tail lights with these upgrades?

Nicely done!

Ittessor thanks for the LED diy post.
Have you figured out the LED bulbs necessary for the taillights and reverse lights yet? I would like to make the rear lights brighter as well

Thank you!

Yes I have. What I didn't figure is to have the bulbs ready when I changed out the factory fuel filler assembly. My tailights are the premium LED units that I believe were included with one of the packages I chose (think it was the tow package that includes them). The back up bulbs are 7440. I will be installing the Auxbeam (70025868) ones to keep branding and performance the same. Link is below.

I uploaded the bulb chart from the owners manual to help with future research. :like:

I have no problems at all with my setup. I consider it lucky since I had issues with my JK aftermarket headlights and turn signals. That is not the case with the JL, really.

The brand I used and listed are spot on. In regard to on comming traffic, I have had a couple flashes, two or three. The lights are very bright but not obnoxious and understandably could be mistaken. I can tell you for sure if it was a common occurrence I would without question change them.

I hope this helps and again, I am very pleased all around.

Thanks for the quick post.

So no issues with flickering esp after you turn off the lights? It doesn’t stay on for an extended time? It was a true plug and play?

Thank you. I will attempt to deliver a decent photo of their performance. The cutoff is not as defined as a projector, which I am completely aware of that comparison as my Chrysler 300 has that beam line.

Please see my other response in regard to tail lights.

100 percent on the money. I would not have any clue they weren't OEM/Stock if I didn't install them myself. I am very surprised that I did not encounter any of those issues on the JL. Keep in mind that these units are not HID's that require a ballast and a possible anti flicker adapter. That I did encounter on my 2000 XJ and 2015 JKU when I tried HID's.

Thank you for this info. I might be leaning towards this. The dust/cover“cap” on the rear of the headlight assembly fit good after you plugged the new one in?

Btw, to your comment on not having as clean a cutoff line, that’s understandable because we don’t have the projector housing.

Edit: forgot to ask - do the high beams work too?
