I didn't need to use any conversion cables or adapters. Everything was plug and play. I thought I would definitely need a resistor for fast blink but it worked without. I have had zero issues since install and all the lights are still performing like new.
Thank you and congratulations, you'll love it.
I also compared both those wheels. The Beasts spokes have a predominant bronze tint that changes with lighting conditions and has a nice contrast without being overstated. Especially on the Granite.
From my research, the JL's will run 33's no...
I took off the entire stock intake and used a wrench that fit the circumference (I don't recall the size) and turned it carefully. There are directional arrows for lock/unlock. I installed an afe aftermarket system. It's stronger than it looks but do it slowly without a lot of force.
There are several out there. I purchased the Ace Engineering version. Be aware that relocating the camera has pitfalls. My gate plate from ACE does not have the correct angle towards the road, so the parking lines (if you use them) are facing upwards. Other variations look to have the...
You could drill a small hole to accommodate the wire gauge size. Then cut and splice the wire to pass through, leaving the ballast outside. A grommet or a little silicone could finish up sealing. Just a thought...
I agree with BeachNJeep and would like to add that I noticed any flashes I had gotten previously were because I had my fogs on. I live in a mostly rural area.
I bought my setup from Customwheeloffset.com, with their recommended TPMS sensors. After install of the new wheels, it took my system less than 20 miles to register and report. I have had no issues moving forward. What I purchased is below. The other information was pulled from another forum...
Thank you!
1) No issues with TPMS (It took under 30 miles for new units to register). Air pressure shown on my screen reflect air gauge units I used +/- 1 PSI
2) I chose to include the units during checkout as it was an option to include (extra charge). I did not purchase a 5th spare (just my...
When I got the headlights and opened the package I immediately thought I made a huge mistake. This was due to the larger heatsinks on the bulbs. On top of that was the connection plug. After removing housing and cap I connected the new bulb first, then tucked the connector to the side (in...
100 percent on the money. I would not have any clue they weren't OEM/Stock if I didn't install them myself. I am very surprised that I did not encounter any of those issues on the JL. Keep in mind that these units are not HID's that require a ballast and a possible anti flicker adapter. That I...
Thank you. I will attempt to deliver a decent photo of their performance. The cutoff is not as defined as a projector, which I am completely aware of that comparison as my Chrysler 300 has that beam line.
Please see my other response in regard to tail lights.
I have no problems at all with my setup. I consider it lucky since I had issues with my JK aftermarket headlights and turn signals. That is not the case with the JL, really.
The brand I used and listed are spot on. In regard to on comming traffic, I have had a couple flashes, two or three. The...
Thank you!
Yes I have. What I didn't figure is to have the bulbs ready when I changed out the factory fuel filler assembly. My tailights are the premium LED units that I believe were included with one of the packages I chose (think it was the tow package that includes them). The back up bulbs...
Yes they do, the original glass bulb is amber. The new LED unit is not, nor a switchback (amber to white to amber) when activated. I will post a quick vid tomorrow.
I also had the hardest time finding out specifics such as yours. I reached out to custom offsets and ran my config ideas by them. They were able to validate my config with what I chose to put together. I personally don't think you would have an issue with either. Most would be cautious not to go...
