Unless you are looking to make a statement, don't forget the OEM steel bumper. They are not the most robust but FCA worked hard to keep the weight down and take things like crash protection into consideration. You can often find a take off on Craigslist or Ebay. I've heard mounting the Mopar winch plate in them is a royal pain. Here is a link to installing one, I don't think you have to mess with the rivnuts or skid plate since you don't have the Rubicon swaybar:

Personally, I like the looks of the Nemesis mid-length:

Several guys in my club swear by Rock Hard. You should check out the installation instructions, most bumpers will install similarly:

Next Venture has a modular bumper that can be configured full width:

Ok, thank you for all these suggestions. I'm going to start a separate thread to narrow down this bumper question...

IMHO when it comes to a winch-consider bumper and remember the 1.5 Times your GVW-it should determine the minimum. I went with a Barricade HD and the Smittybilt 10k with synthetic and it has been put to use more than 20 times and a lot of it was mud-never had an issue or failure. Also I thought about helping others and they may not have a Wrangler and it still works. Another thing to contemplate is how much off-road time that you will actually do. I'll Add a photo of my Jeep as an example and it is the JLUR.

If I could add to this thread, I have a question about winch mounting plates for the 4xe...

So I had a 2019 JLUR with a factory steel bumper(and steel air dam/skidplate), and back when options we more limited, I used a Warn winch plate (101255 ). This plate mounted to the front of the frame behind the bumper, resulting in a pushing forward of the factory steel bumper...AND subsequently pushing the steel skidplate forward so that the rear bolts on the skidplate no longer aligned with the holes. I ultimately just ran without those rear bolts and was fine, but I'm curious if there's another winch plate option for the 4xe factory steel bumper and air dam/skidplate that doesn't push he bumper forward?

-Thank you
