Wrangler newbie here, looking to get the most out of my ride, looking for tips from everyone. My wife and I recently purchased a 2021 wrangler unlimited willys edition, I'm wondering what mods everyone would recommend, looking to do some offroading, not quite interested in rock crawling yet(as stated we are newbies, learn to walk before running) I'm just curious what everyone thinks are must haves?

Now you did it! Just wait for the long, long list of mods from all these wonderful people. There are more ways to spend your hard earned money on a Jeep than there are drops of water in the oceans. Congrats on the new Jeep! I'm still waiting to be able to order mine.

Only thing you need is a recovery strap. And never wheel alone. Mods can come as you see what areas you need to improve upon, but the stock Jeep is very capable.

This. No need to buy anything yet.

But... if money is burning a hole in your pocket...
Along with the tow strap (and gloves) already mentioned:
#1 A good first aid kit
#2 Fire extinguisher
#3 A compressor or CO2 system to air up your tires (airing down improves traction considerably)

Welcome to the sickness

This... I added a winch because I do like to wheel alone. I (so far) have the sense to not try anything crazy but the cost of a winch is much less than the cost of a recovery service.

1 and 2 are already covered, a truck driver so I already carry them in all my vehicles, thanks for the tip on 3 though!

You got a new Willy’s and you’re just curious? I recommend joining a local club full of like minded individuals.

There you’ll be able to explore nature trails and figure out what type of driving and riding you enjoy. You’ll also quickly ascertain what’s a need for your new Willy’s.

Be sure to bring the wife along with you when you’re out playing with your Willy’s. When she experiences you exploring and comes across any limitations, you’ll have her buy in from the get go.

And then you’ll really start to experience exactly what it means to Just Empty Every Pocket.
