Just got back from a trail run, my wife got a good shot of the disconnected sway bar. I’m an old school wheeler, used to getting out to set up your rig , locking in hubs, disconnecting swaybar, etc... I have to admit it was nice to just push a button. :jk:

How did you make out disconnecting? Did you have to shake the Jeep to disengage? First time I tried it wouldn't disengage...read the manual and it said to shake the Jeep. Sure enough, shaked in my seat and it disengaged!!

Pics look awesome!!

Ok - not dissing at all but just curious as I don't have that feature; why would you disconnect on that road section? I know pics can be really deceiving of the steepness but it appears to be something that even the Sport could handle with zero issue. Maybe just to test it out? It does look neat I'll say that and I don't doubt it's capability whatsoever.

It was a just a good spot to actually see it in action, thought it would make a good show and tell for the guys that haven’t seen it work before.

Technology is great..........learned to wheel with 3.08 open diff's, no lockers, no traction control. etc....skills, wisdom and tire pressure were all I had.

Technology such as traction control has made it so requiring the expense of a Rubicon is not necessarily needed in my case. In 12 years of driving a Rubicon I prob used the lockers once a year and it had no sway bar disconnect.

Upgrading tires for a little more clearance and traction, along with traction control and you've got a very capable jeep without the need and cost of ALL the hardware.

Since my RUBICONS ALWAYS HAVE THE EDISCO-SWAYBAR----I always DISCO/shift to 4hi as soon as I get off-road--

That way I won't get short changed quickly in a problem--

I mean---why buy a jeep if you don't use the NON-CAR ATTRIBUTES ???
