Hello , i have been trying to decide what lift to get for my sport! I want to know how tall with 35inch tires it will be! I’m leaning towards Metalcloak, Rusty’s and even evo. I want to know should I wait till I get rubicon axles ?
Do I have to replace lift parts with changing axles ? Also if I settle for a 2.5 and don’t like the look do I have to change everything to switch?
Thanks for reading !!!!!

Metal cloak is just springs to change between 2.5" and 3.5" lifts. I had the Dynatrac Endurosport 2" on my last rig and it's a fantastic budget kit as well. I believe you should be good with sport or rubi axles. IMO 2.5" looks right with 35" tires, 3.5" is a little tall unless you are going to load it down heavy (I just swapped 4.5" springs in the rear to compensate on mine, I'm very heavy though)

Metal cloak is a great kit, I don't have experience with the others listed.

Note the squat on 3.5" GC, this is why I popped 4.5" springs in to compensate, I'm very heavy though, you likely will not have this issue.

As of now daily driver/ weekend warrior but don’t want to have to worry at the same time. I have a budget boost teraflex now and I’m always worried. Later on tho it will just a toy!

Which spacer kit do you have?

I want to know should I wait till I get rubicon axles ?
1. No specific reason

Do I have to replace lift parts with changing axles ?
1. Probably not, you won't need QD's if you do the Rubi Disconnect. The other width is outside the mounts.

Also if I settle for a 2.5 and don’t like the look do I have to change everything to switch?
1. Springs and adjust CA and TB lengths.
2. Make sure you pic shocks that work with either.

I have a 2 1/2 lift spacer teraflex lift. I hate it. I eventually want to go to 37s but….For or now i want to make sure what kit I buy, I don’t have to replace the whole lift if I try to go taller.
i would love to have the best on road bc it’s our daily but, also have the offroad capabilities thatwill not make me worry!

So, in general, coil lifts are going to be based on Rubicon height and overshoot if anything. For example, I've got a little over 4" over stock Rubi height from my MC 3.5.

It will depend on manufacturer how much it tends to overshoot. Trail Recon did a great lift comparison video on youtube. It's a great two parter, height measurements are at the end of the first part.

Your TF 2.5", I believe will be 3" front 2.5" rear.

I'd say a resonable expectation from a 2.5" lift would be 4" from sport stock. So another inch in front and 1.5" in rear, maybe a little more.

What’s the height measurement on that ?
About 20 1/4 inches to bottom of rock rail below front door hinges.. about 40 inches at the center of the front fender.. 60 3/4 inches from ground to top of mirror

What’s the height measurement on that ?
Due to variations in tire diameter, pressure, etc. I recommend comparing lift height either shock eye to eye or spring perch to bucket.

How do those bilsteins ride compared to rock sport shocks ?
I'm currently running Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir 3-4.5" shocks. They are a noticable improvement over the monotube 5100s in the same length (as well as gaining travel). I haven't run the Rocksports, but they are twin tubes, so you can expect faster fade, although they generally have good reviews on ride.

Note, any shock/extension combination over 29 inches extended in front will trigger the need for a new front driveshaft. The Rocksports are 30" and about 31.5" with the outboard brackets, that's why MC notes the driveshaft requirement on their site.

does not matter what lift you get it works with both sport and rubicon axles. the only difference is the tire size and wheel offset needed for that size tire. i ran 33's with my sport axles just because i liked the take off wheel/tire combo i got from someone with a rubicon. From that i when and got my self Rubicon axles and ran the 33's for a couple months and moved up to a 2.5" lift with 35's since then i have sold the rubicon take off's added method wheels with 4.75" backspacing... I recommend 4.5" back spacing. and i now run 37's. get minor rubbing on the inner fender liner at full flex. Still managing to get through level 7-8 trails with some rock slider scraping. plenty of flex though. I am on a JKS lift kit on heavy duty spring rate

If you go to 3.5" lift you will need to change front drive shaft at the minimum. I would say change both at the same time though
