  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed a Distintion hydrographics tattered flag wiper cowl in sting gray.
  2. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Not directly TO my jeep.. but more FOR my jeep.. got one of those harbor freight red trailer frames and built me a trailer to haul gear.. kayaks.. or whatever else I need to throw in there.. wheels and tires will come but for now I just painted the wheels gray.. the frame black.. and did some...
  3. Home alignment tool.. anyone tried these

Yeah I can see how angle iron would be just as effective.. I was just thinking for both angle iron or the tool.. if they were not manufactured 100% dead straight then our measurement would be off.. like if one was 1/16th of an inch bent inward.. then we would measure to 1/16th toe in but would...
  4. Home alignment tool.. anyone tried these

Nice.. thanks.. saved me some money..
  5. Home alignment tool.. anyone tried these

https://bleepinjeep.com/product/bleepinjeep-alignment-tool/ Saw these and thought they were a great idea.. wanting to try them but my thought is if they are even the slightest bit bowed, bent or curved.. it will throw you off. 1/16 of an inch is tiny.. and if you are trying to get toe in 1/16...
  6. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

  7. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

    Thanks.. I appreciate that
  8. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

Thanks.. that's good to hear.. I'll probably beef up the ball joints and steering components and call it a day for now then..
  9. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

The only reason I would consider it is for the stance.. but in reality I probably wont.. 35's are fine for me. It sits on a 3 inch lift and 35' as of now.. and my 35's wheel and tire weigh more than a lot of peoples 37's wheel and tire combo as is.. 114 pounds each.. so maybe truss and...
  10. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

I do plan to upgrade ball joints already.. as well as steering component's such as drag link and tie rod.. so maybe upgrade the shafts and get a truss and gusset kit and should be ok then?.. I do run 35's that are heavy.. and I do plan to regear.. what if I went to 37's someday?.. if I did...
  11. Dana 44.. should I or should I not

Figured I would get some input from some of you guys that are more experienced than I. I have a 2021 WILLYS.. 3.45 gears. Obviously dana 44 in the rear and 30 in front.. I plan to beef up the ball joints, tie rod, drag link etc.. and probably regear since I have a heavy wheel and tire combo...
  12. Insurance

I live in Michigan.. some of the most expensive insurance rates in the country.. it's a stupid ass no fault state.. which is ridiculous.. my last renewal went up to $913 for 6 months. No accidents or tickets or anything.. not sure why I came back here honestly.. lol
  13. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

Lent it to the fiance to take to work today.. her car is in the shop due to someone backing into it while we were in the store and breaking clips in her front bumper.. I work from home so I don't need it.. but it sucks not being able to look put the window and see her gazing back at me.. lol...
  14. Gate hinge bolts not budging

I agree.. definitely need a breaker bar. When I removed mine to install the teraflex alpha hinges I used a breaker bar and they were not too difficult.. could definitely tell without the breaker bar it would have been a different story.. breaker bar.. put pressure on the back of the breaker...
  15. 3 Months old rubicon was stolen

I completely agree.. here in Michigan we have a castle doctrine and stand your ground law.. BUT... you cannot use force to protect property... which is bullshit.. spend that much on a jeep.. got hand guns and AR's right next to me and I'm supposed to sit there and let them take it? To hell...
  16. Exhaust for JLUR 3.6?

I just installed this two days ago
  17. Naked + A/C...

I've done it at a long stop light when it was hotter than hell out.. I've also... on those cool mornings, ran heat just for a warm breeze.. and when it's been just cool enough to where it's not super comfortable when your moving, I've turned the heated seats on and it did a world of good.
