The winner here is 35x11.2R18 Duratracs, weighing in at only 60lbs. Which is what the stock rubicon tires weigh.Just an update on the tallest skinniest Nitto Trail Grapplers and Cooper STT Pros all 35s in order from shortest to tallest. Height is the actual calculated height based on Rev/mile...not the listed overall diameter.
Sure wish Cooper made more 35" tires in 17s. That 285/75R18 is skinniest tire at 11.26" All in the list are between 11.26" to 12.4".
- SSTPro 35X12.50R20E 33.7" - 69 lbs
- NittoTG 35x11.50R17C 33.7" - 72.6 lbs

Kenda makes a 35/10.5/17 tire in both an RT and MT configuration. The RT is a pretty aggressive tread for an on/off road tire AT type tire. The winner here is 35x11.2R18 Duratracs, weighing in at only 60lbs. Which is what the stock rubicon tires weigh.
I am also looking for narrower 35s and was sort of excited about these Kendas. However, I read at least two posts on a JK forum that these 35/10.5r17 Kendas measure true at 33.5" to 33.75". However, a Walmart review I stumbled upon said "true 35 inch". I am confused. Not sure if you, or anyone else knows the actual height of these.Kenda makes a 35/10.5/17 tire in both an RT and MT configuration. Not that members on the Jeep forums are perfect, but I’d trust them on something like this over someone reviewing on the Walmart siteI am also looking for narrower 35s and was sort of excited about these Kendas. Per the manufacturer, the 35x10.5r17 measures 34.76" diameter by 10.47 wide. It's typical for a "35" to be slightly under 35 inches, and these don't seem any different. Definitely not under 34" inches though, which these apparently aren't either.I am also looking for narrower 35s and was sort of excited about these Kendas. It is very common for people to measure a tire's height with the weight of the vehicle on it. This is a meaningless value as it depends on vehicle weight, front or rear tire, and air pressure. But it is easy to do and I guess relates to the visual look. Those JK owners must have been measuring to shoulder of tire or something. Strange!
Check this epic thread on them over on the Gladiator site, very popular there!I am also looking for narrower 35s and was sort of excited about these Kendas. HATE the Duratracs on my wife’s JKU. Can’t wait for Vroom to come pick it up so we can get her new JLU picked up. We’ll be going with 295/70r18 (34.5x11.5) Nitto Terra Grapplers that are listed at 46 pounds each. I’m going with 35/11.50r17 Toyos in load range C on my GladiatorThe winner here is 35x11.2R18 Duratracs, weighing in at only 60lbs. Which is what the stock rubicon tires weigh.

I've had them and absolutely loved them. The only reason I don't have them now is because they're so dang expensive. Great tires though and I'd definitely put them on my JL.HATE the Duratracs on my wife’s JKU.......
This is the tire I’m going with on my GladiatorI think I can fit these 35x11.5 without any suspension rub or just a tiny turn of the steering stops at the worst https://amzn.to/34nLycE
