I just requested LT295/80 R17 Ridge Grappler (35.6" x 11.6" x 17" Rim)Hopefully you guys are telling Nitto per the kink I provided! It’s the only way they’ll make em.
These tires are on my list. Would you recommend them?As promised. Toyo AT3s in 35x11.50R17. Installed a 1.5/1.0 Traxda lift kit to level out the Jeep and maintain stock wheel well spacing. Lift is mild enough where no extended sway bar links are needed. Steering geometry isn’t affected enough to need corrections.
Drives great. Tires are about the same as the stock BFG KO2s but slightly larger. Actual height mounted and inflated to 37psi is 34”
Absolutely. I’ve had them on for about 6k miles now and two wheeling trips. Holding up well and great on snow, ice, rain and all conditions. Like them as much as the BFG KO2s. More aggressive tread pattern is a little noisier on highways but not terrible. These tires are on my list. Would you recommend them?
Does the spare fit on the stock tire carrier? I also have a JLUR in white. But I have the steel bumpers.Absolutely. I’ve had them on for about 6k miles now and two wheeling trips. Yes. Spare fits just fine without the need for spacers, longer bump stops or anything. About 1/2” of space to the stock plastic bumper.Does the spare fit on the stock tire carrier? I also have a JLUR in white. But I have the steel bumpers.
I wonder what the difference is, if any, between the steel and plastic rear bumper as far as the spare tire cut out.Yes. Spare fits just fine without the need for spacers, longer bump stops or anything. About 1/2” of space to the stock plastic bumper.
Any adjustment to the spare tire carrier or it fit fine stock?I ended up going with the Nitto Trail Grappler 35”x11.5”x17” tires mounted on an ICON Rebound 8.5”x17” rim. The wheels offer a 4.5” backspace and a -6mm offset. The tires have a C sidewall rating which I think will yield a softer ride. Here are a few pics of the wheel and tire combo!

Nice choice, looks great bro!Falken Wildpeak R/T 01 - 35x11.5R17 C on stock 4xe rubicon rims. ~ 89lb per side (tire+wheel)
Got very close, I wanted to be under 90lb to avoid tailgate sag. Mopar claims you can run a 37" tire on the reinforced tailgate - that is about 85-95lbs conservatively assuming they used BFG KO2 37s and mopar beadlock wheels.
