Mysterious Part

Anyone know what the purpose is of this part? Pic is off a 2022 JLUR passenger side front wheel well. I was told that this was on the vehicle from the factory and not part of the Mopar 2" lift.

I believe that is a reinforcement piece as a result of crash testing.

Yeah, that's their fix for the rollover during the offset front collision test. An issue I was never particularly concerned about.

As previously stated: it was supposed to resolve the offset rollover test issues, but it still failed after being resubmitted.

You'll have to remove it if you want to install some rock sliders.
