To echo the rest on here, I think it’s the best bang for the buck and install is super easy. Louder on start up and when on it but not obnoxious at idle or when cruising

I put the Borla Stinger S on last summer and I like it. Not to loud, has a little bit of a crackle to it. Sounds good with the 6MT.

I went to the afe hi-tuck mostly for clearance. Didn't care for the noise. 16 vs. 22 pounds for the stock muffler.

EDIT: this was a reply to Jimac. I was wondering what the cherry bomb sounds like??
Use my Okie Redneck method for delete pipe plus cherry bomb glass pack
To me the Dynomax looks like it's just a straight pipe. So this looks like a pretty good compromise between stock and no muffler. Any clips of the sound?

I would like to do this, but being new to Texas and car inspections every year, I am worried about failing inspection on a practically brand new vehicle. In Florida, they don't care what you register/renew, as long as you pony up the money.

I doubt they will care You can keep the factory muffler like I did and put it back on when needed.

It’s not going to affect your emissions, only the noise level, and frankly it’s not very loud. Makes me wonder why they put such a monster muffler on it to begin with.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it could be used on a big I6 diesel:) it’s not loud at all compared to Honda’s with glass packs and deleted diesels.

Ah, very nice. I wasn't sure the impact, or how strict inspections can be. Honestly, seeing what is driven on the roads here, it would need to be a very drastic change to fail an inspection.

I had mine on for a couple weeks and took it off. It sounded good at idle but at higher RPMs, it was too loud for my tastes. My gas mileage went up but only because I didn't like the sound at high RPMs and that took a lot of the thrill out of driving it.
