Hey all, putting my stock muffler back on because the drone from my dynomax muffler delete hasn’t been enjoying. I’m happy with the volume level of the stock muffler, but I am wondering if I would see any volume or tone change by deleting the stock resonator and keeping the stock muffler. I haven’t seen really anyone do it with the stock muffler installed.

I'm pretty sure the resonator is there to eliminate drone, so....

Yeah, I think you'd end up just as unhappy doing that as the muffler delete, maybe even worse on the ears. I had the Dynomax, like the volume when you got on the gas but droning at 1800 rpm wasn't good. Went w/ a Magnaflow dual axleback and it's perfect IMO, no drone, looks good, nice fit & finish. Not quite the volume at WOT as the delete pipe but still know you've got a motor under the hood :)
