Hello, anyone who has installed their Mopar lift kit, did you also replace the rear track bar ?
Yes, and Yes...but initally--I kept the factory rear track bar for about 6 months and it was like driving a goblin. I installed Synergy front/rear trackbars after that--and it made a HUGE difference.

Def. get a heavy/improved trackbar for front and rear. Worth it.

I’ve put the Mopar lift kit, come with lower control arm to correct caster.. on my 21 Sahara, it looks like got more that 3ā€of lift.
Also replaced the track bar (adjustable)front n rear, offset was noticeable.
You’ll need an alignment, re- center steering wheel
More than 3ā€ ? I guess I’ll find out

I’ve already installed the JKS on the front …
And I’ll do the same for the rear

Interested to hear your opinion on how the stability changes after you install it...

they rated those kits for rubicon 2ā€ lift kit, same part no. For sport and Sahara you gain more.

The front one I installed when I also installed the Teraflex leveling kit last year. Along with a synergy sector shaft brace. I did tune it at home on level ground. And right away when I took it for a drive on the street and freeway it stopped the side to side wobble ! The adjustable front track bar did what it’s supposed to do and made for. The sector shaft brace reduced the steering sway to almost 80% better. This me driving on uneven pavements. Wiggly roads that I normally take to work and back. Drove it over 60 , 70 + mph. It works.

Ok. Well I will report back once I receive and install it. I will do measurements from the axle to the top of the shock tower

So to answer your question, the ride itself is perfect for my drive and commute , stability , since the lift , i have been feeling a shimmy overall, BUT , i installed it when it was raining, i didn't get a chance to set the track bars, which i will do this weekend, the front is off by about 1/4-1/2 on the passenger side, i need to re check all torque settings , which i will perform today or tomorrow , also , i have noticed it has a slight pull to the right, i need to adjust the steering as well.

Yep. Same here before I did a Fox steering stab upgrade, trackbars, and the 1.2" wheel spacers. Once I did that, it all disappeared for the most part. I'd say I'm at about 90-95% off-the-lot stability now that I did just those three things.

Bet your glad you got that done. And in the rain. That's pretty hardcore.

the pull to the right you mention seems to be a common ailment after lifting. I was searching here in the forums as I’m on the same boat as you, and read that it’s key to nail the trackbar setting to ensure as small a thrust angle as possible. I’m still thinking about how to check that with enough accuracy at home?

haven’t discarded taking to a good 4x4 shop and asking to do it and teach me how. Not going to the local mechanic who missed it in my alignment - althought to be fair he said he didn’t usually work on Jeeps.

Same here. Can’t trust anyone. I’m going to adjust the bar Tomrrow morning. I’m about 99% sure it will solve it

Two different ways I do it, both will get you there….. you can measure from the coil housing out to a lug on the tire, or use a 4 ft level or a straight edge against the tire ( it doesn’t have to be plumb, just make sure it’s against the tire top and bottom) and measure to the fender or the coil bucket if the tire isn’t in the way….. pics….
