I’ve been attempting to move and center the axle. But the drive side spring is bent !!! I have opened meaning extended the track bar and nothing is happening. I even closed it almost to stock length and the driver spring is touching the shock mount. Is it because of the driveway ? I’m lost at this point I did the measurements as well with the stud and tape measure …. Please chime in !
I did add the RK front lower pads could these be the culprit ? They are angled. Vs the Mopar ones in the lift kit

and in the picture I’m trying to move the frame to the left (driver side ) extending the track bar - I think I need to close the adjusting bolt so the spring is away from the spring mount …

Set your track bar to 34-1/8” center to center of the connecting bolts, then measure each side like in pics above……

Rocky. I’ve been going back and forth. Shorten. Increase since this morning. I think the RK isolators on the bottom has angled the springs. I think I need to use the ones that came with the Mopar kit as they are flat. It’s supposed to bow the springs outward away from the bump stops But I will try what you just said

Yeah, start with getting your axle centered… then go from there… I just realized you have the diesel ( heavier) so it could be an isolator issue…..

I’m about 99% sure it was not needed mopar states on the install manual the springs are supposed to bow outward. Toward the wheels. Equally. I listened to someone here. And it was not needed ! I’m going to remove them next weekend. Sheeshhh ?

is there a way or has anyone compressed the front coils only ?
i really don't want to remove everything i just worked on, need to lift the coils up so i can pull off the RK isolators and install the Mopar, i do have old school manual spring compressor , but they are not for this style of s[rings its for McPherson struts , thanks

I feel like with the captive stock CA bushings, you'll need to loosen them anyway to clear the bump stops enough to fish out the isolators. At that point, may as well just drop the axle.

I've broken a compressor before and trying to do that on already wonky coils would be scary enough to do it the long way.

Ya. It was wishful thinking. I’ve already dismantled the front end ?

We had a rough country adjustable front bar installed on hers when we got the Mopar lift installed. I tt to the tech that did the install and he said it really did not make a difference and I decided to pass on it when I got mine. No issues.

No just the front track bar. I skipped it when I got my lift because the tech said that was not necessary with the Mopar lift. My friend said I had to have it so when we got hers done the year before, I had them install one with her lift.

Here is my before and after with the RK pads and Mopar lift. This was years ago and now maybe the springs are improved and the RK pads add too much??

mine are bowing in toward the frame and they are supposed to bow outward on both sides not inward ! According to the Mopar installation manual. unless the RK pads have a L & R, which both stamped part numbers are the same, no left no right, but on the Mopar lift kit , the pads are left and right , they are marked as well with colored dots

just spoke to RK, the tech stated , that there is a thick and thin difference with D and P markings, which i did not see at all, the thicker one goes on the passenger , thin pad goes on the passenger side, can anyone confirm this is true ? as far as the thickens of both

The thick and thin pads are for the rear springs, the thick one goes on passenger side to help counter the fuel tank weight on the gassers….. the fronts should both be the same thickness……the diesel doesn’t get the side specific spring pads due to having different weight distribution……
