Had everything updated at the dealer today. Halo's working correctly, LED Fogs working and I had asked them to look into the DRL/Turn signal issue where my turn signal would go out. They said they programed that too. Haven't got the error or noticed the turn signal going out since I left. Time will tell on that. Not sure if the high beam issue was fixed too, but I'm assuming it's fine. Will have to wait until dark to try that out.
Glad to hear your dealer was able to assist with your concerns, fightingmajor. If any of your concerns are persisting, please do not hesitate to let us know. Weā€™d be happy to help.

Ok I can confirm that tazer DO turn on the halo! I followed advice from @fonzie turning it on and off in the taser setup and after maybe 3 or 4 times the halo lit up completely and stayed on! Now i have no problems with low beam high beam and halo is lit always. Im rebooting now and following proper instructions and I will update if anything else comes up.

I am installing the kit on my sports and I cannot figure out how to get the connectors taken apart to insert the wires that plug into the lights. Mine have plugs in the port that you are suppose to insert the wire into. Also I cannot figure out where I need to go through te firewall to get to the BCM.

Scroll back a few pages. I explained this already.

That was unbelievably hard. Pretty much by feel. Unless I can help it, I am never messing with block A on the BCM ever again!

So, I plugged in the Tazer, married it, checked the lighting. Settings for lighting were NO to LED heads and NO to HALO. I switched to LED and the hi low immediately fixed but the HALO still not on.

I just selected on and off without rebooting in between. It flicked on and then immediately off every time I was doing that and then the last time it stayed on. That's when I know it worked. I fully rebooted (reboot option with Tazer and 2 on and off cycles) and so far no error messages, everything worked fine.

Yep, awesome! I had to flip it on and off about 7 times and it finally stayed on! Thanks @rayxu! And now I know for certain that was all wired the right way and they DEFENITELY didnā€™t set the Dealer Connect settings right. Iā€™m livid that I paid to have them ā€˜finishā€™ the work and they didnā€™t do the simplest part of all correctly and they didnā€™t test it. I have been unimpressed with the two dealers in my area so far, and then I found out they are in the same ownership group, go figure.

Hey check out this thread:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/mopar-led-headlight-installation-manual-new.30608/
This guy had some detailed pictures on what to expect for wiring into the BCM.

I also watched some aux switch installation video online to figure out where the firewall is.

As for the wire to light connector, I remember I had to pop off the top piece off from the light connector and then everything slides in and out. It was almost impossible for me to insert it because the wire would bend and doesn't go in full way.

Pro tip so you don't spend 6 hours like I did trying to get the BCM plugs back into the BCM. The gray levers need to be in the latched open position when you insert them or they wont go all the way in so you can actually lock them in place. I felt like a huge dumbass when I realized that. So 6 hours spent messing around for what should have taken 10 minutes. Other than that everything went smoothly and just need to get the sales code added and BCM flashed.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue but a bit different, my Sahara JL 2019 bought in the United Arab EMIRATES (Dubai) is equipped with LED package but I believe the halo is disabled, I guess we are following European standard in terms of specs.

From the look of the headlight, it seems the Halo ring is there but disabled, I am not sure if the headlight is disabled by software or hardware (4th missing wire). Anybody have any information or solution on how to enable them.

I am in love with Halo light they look much better.

Iā€™m in same boat as you. My EU spec Wrangler looks like it has halos in there but is disabled.

However with some digging the headlight connector only has 3 pins while USA one has 4 pins, the fourth being the halo. So Iā€™m starting to doubt that the halo is in there for export Wranglers.

Until someone with an export Wrangler opens up the light housing we wonā€™t know if the hardware is there or not.

Anyone want to recommend a good vendor to purchase the lights from? That also has them in stock (if any).

Thanks

You can try Jegs. I got them last week, they sent them right away and the price was pretty good.
