Mopar LCA Length vs Rubicon Stock

I've been reading pages and pages of posts regarding Rubi takeoffs on 2-door Sport and noticed a number of recommendations for also doing an LCA swap with the Mopar 2" LCA (68322798AA).

I purchased takeoffs from a Rubi (90, 91, 60, 62) that came with stock LCA and links, then ordered an LCA from All Mopar Parts. When the new LCA arrived, though, it was exactly the same length as the Rubi stock LCA.

Did I get the wrong LCA or is it the same as stock Rubis and I now have a second pair?

There is a part number for the longer LCA. It's .25" longer. It sounds like you ordered the wrong one.

You ordered the correct part number. The stock LCA is 24 inches center to center. The 68322798AA is 24 1/4 inches center to center. I just did the swap this past weekend and when you lay the stock one next to the Mopar one, you can see the difference. What part number is on the ones you got with the takeoff? It is possible the takeoff had already upgraded to the MOPAR LCAs.

798AA on right. Hard to tell from this pic, but it is slightly longer than the stock one on the left. Heavier, too.

It appears you've ordered the right part. I can tell you for a fact that the LCA for the Mopar lift is just slightly longer than the stock Rubi ones. I've sold my take offs and the longer LCA, so I cant get you a side by side. Sorry.

1/4" is nearly imperceptible to the eye especially given the angle on the arms. use a tape measure to be sure.
