Congrats on the new Jeep. I have a C7 Z06 and a JLUR. As you stated, no comparison, not even close, with the steering. Also, even a slight breeze will impact the steering on the JLUR. That said, I installed the mopar LCAs on my rubicon and noticed a huge difference in the way it tracked. I suggest you drive yours until it is broken in and see if your jeep steering is satisfactory to you. Here is something helpful, and if you have an hour or so to kill, then read the whole thread. Lots of great info. (3) Mopar LCA swap | Page 14 | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) - Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, 4xe, 392 - JLwranglerforums.com

I am getting my first Jeep this Sat. JLUR XR. I want to replace the front LCA to improve the caster angle and steering feel. No other modifications are planned. It is too much Jeep for me as it is.

I prefer tight steering with good friction and feedback, I came from C7 Corvette. I understand Jeep is not a sports car. I am not after sports car steering feel, I just want to improve steering feel over stock

Is Mopar fixed-length LCA good enough (.25" over stock length)? Is there any additional benefits from adjustable LCA given my stock XR height and no plans for any additional modifications.

Mopar LCA are about $80 and adjustable from other companies are up to $400. So, the difference is big and I don't want to waste money.

Thanks,
Drive it first and see how it feels before making plans for upgrading things not needed. Mine drove beautifully right from the factory. Once you add a lift then that’s a different story.

Here's a different thought. Get your JLUR XR (X package), and test it out. See if you like it. On my 2020 willy's I added RUBI Springs and the Mopar lca's, lifted it and the handling improved. On my 2024 Rubi X the handling was great from the get-go. I personally do not need any more lift than the Rubi X comes with, and I would be hesitant to mess with handling.
