Hell, many of the "Jeeps" with a Trail Rated badge get dragged through the Rubicon just so corporate can say it did it. That doesn't mean anyone should do the same.
Sounds fun to me

Yall will have to ask @dragoneggs when he gets back
If it were MY stock Jeep and especially if relatively new, I would NOT attempt the Rubicon. I was on 315s and a 1.5in lift (effectively 2in) for two door, Artec belly armor (giving me another 3/4in clearance (, LCA skids, and I had plenty of scrapes and bangs. One thing I didn’t have but strongly advise are diff skids.

I understand the easiest time to travel the trail is right after a Jeep Jamboree. They apparently ‘groom’ the trail, lots of rock pre stacked, etc. We didn’t experience this, going in early October.

My plan is to go on a Jamboree and they literally have "rock rollers" and trail guides that will stack rocks for you. The Jeep Jamboree has a minimum 37" tire rule but the longer running Jeepers Jamboree doesn't have as strict of requirements and includes other vehicles besides just Jeeps. Both are put on by the same people however. There is no way I'd run the Rubicon solo my first time and having lots of people with lots of recovery gear, helicopter support with mechanics on duty is pretty awesome too. Price is a bit steep at $625 per person (Jeepers Jamboree which is the one I will be attending) but that also includes life flight insurance for you as well in case you get hurt/have an medical emergency on the trail.

I have been known to imbibe a bit too much of my favorite bourbon and get a bit too spirited/optimistic regarding modifications for my Jeep.

What seemed perfectly logical and made total sense after four drinks on a Friday night may not seem all that great when one sobers up.

What have you ordered that didn't quite live up to expectations a week or so later?
All I know is, the way things are right now, bourbon and whiskey are so overrated.

Real men drink EVERCLEAR!!

Four glasses of bourbon, or you could just do one glass of everclear!

Time to grow a pair; get you some everclear!

Between last Sunday and today I've only had two glasses of Everclear. I'm a functioning alcoholic, you know! :CWL:;)

I mean four glasses of bourbon, at let's say 4 oz per a glass, 16 oz total, at 40% ABV, would net me a blood alcohol level around 0.17%

VS.

6 oz of Everclear, with a ABV of 95%, would let me a blood alcohol level around 0.15%

Don't get me wrong, I drink bourbon too, but I don't drink it to get drunk. That's wasting good bourbon. If you're just trying to get drunk, buy something cheap and effective like everclear!

More on topic, I don't buy stuff when I'm drunk.
That's about as dumb as those people who drink Crappy Van Winkle. I mean I've had Macallan 25 before, I've also had a single shot of Crappy 25.. and let me tell you, at double the price, the Crappy is not any bit better!! It's just morons with too much money buying things to complete an image of themselves that is already lacking. Can't buy personality!:CWL:

That being said, here's a good video for y'all!
