No, not paying more, just getting less useful everyday stuff in terms of drive train. So not price, but value. Same suspension, same 4x4 Hi/Lo. The differences lie in the F4WD vs. lockers+disco.It’s more of explanation of why lsd isn’t any better in the snow and mud situations. It seems a lot of people stereotype rubicon as only a rock crawler, was just helping people to understand why it’s not. However your really not paying any more for rubicon than with Moab, aren’t they close to same price?
I agree that the Rubi is very far from being a crawler-only set up. Extremely capable everywhere, and I do like being more engaged in my driving, which I think the Rubi gets you. They both have similar rides, but if I'm never crawling (not only crawling), the Rubi offers no advantage.
