For the record, on my rubi I am considering buffing our some of my brush pinstripes. The rockslider scratch rust battle I have not tried to fight.
2000 grit and some good fine grit make it shine, just have to be careful not to burn the paint
Cleaned up a friends TJ while I was waiting for parts

Ok. Good news. I called Jeep and they clarified the situation. Rubi owners are correct, the Moab suspension isn’t the same suspension as the Rubicon. Jeep told me the Moab suspension is actually better. The reason got very technical and went over my head. At any rate, if any JLUR owners want to upgrade to my Moab suspension let me know. I’ll give you a special rate of $200. See my post in the member market section.

I just got off the phone with Monroe. They confirmed their Moab shocks can take the stress from driving on grass.

Let's be honest... it wouldn't take much for something to go over your head. As demonstrated by your sales thread in the general section.

I love how you asked for directions to the sales section after... Scrolling down is hard. That's probably how you ended up with a Moab. You just picked the first you saw.

:CWL: Get the popcorn... my rubi suspension was put in box at 300 miles, so I can’t vouch for how it works.

So better suspension and rock sliders? Man, I feel bad for those Rubi owners.

How can it be ‘better’ then the rubicon suspension? Your saying that Jeep made a limited production model with a custom suspension just for the Moab and made it superior to the rubicon’s? I think the person you spoke to was a salesmen trying to pitch you a Moab.

Why does somebody care if I select a Moab instead of a Rubicon? To each their own and my money and I don’t answer to anyone at this stage in my life much less in this forum.

Some of the reply’s were downright rude and juvenile. I don’t see this on other types of forums I belong to. At 75 years old, USMC veteran, I guess I don’t like to deal with petty BS. Their is some great information to be obtained on this site could be better without BS. Just my opinion and yes everyone has one.
