Some of us don't need dual locking diffs and sway bar disconnects (especially in Florida where there is not even a small hill). It's a good balance between the Rubi and the Sahara. The MOAB is a Saharacon. I think mine is bad ass.

There it is in writing, maybe now the Moaby’s will get it:idea:
Wait... do people actually take Jalopnik seriously? I love Doug Demuro's silliness but some people get too worked up over the things he and other Jalopnik writers say.

Yeah, if it’s in writing, and on the internet, then it has to be true. Right?:giggle:

Because Id rather snap a u-joint than a shaft or ring...
well my only experience with CV joints is with HMMWVs and they did all right. Of all the complaints I could have with them, it would be the engine rather than the drive-train.

Seems like Rubicon owners can’t get passed the name, and I agree on that point. Jeep greatly missed an opportunity to use the MOAB name on a beefed up Rubicon.

However, Jeep did a great job with this special edition, they should’ve just used a different name, something that highlighted the 4WD Selec-trac.

I don’t think “Soccer Mommobile” would have fit on the hood

Actually read through the article. Seems to describe to positioning of the MOAB in the Wrangler lineup precicely. Great off road, but not quite like a Rubicon when it comes to rock crawling.
