Unless you are going to dealer anyway, it’s not worth the trouble. Everything in the package might total up to thirty cents.

Turns out they did give it to me. I found it in the back in a bag with the tool kit.

Some people have had a few dozen miles from random pick quality testing at factory.

If it’s pulled for testing at factory, if they go over a certain number of miles it gets a special sticker in the window explaining. Not sure how many miles the limit is. Copies of the sticker are on the forum somewhere.

Mine had 3 (custom ordered). I picked it up within a couple of hours after the car carrier delivered it to the dealership.

Mine had 2 on it when I started the test drive last Saturday. I drove it 14 miles. They recorded the lease starting at 16 miles. Yay! 14 free miles. They even filled it up. It shipped with less than 1/4 tank. You figure they'd fill it up at the factory and throw in a hooker and some blow, what with the $1,495 they charge for destination.

When I picked up mine last week it had 9 miles on it. I know that the dealer had to go fill it with gas and probably drove it just to make sure it rode alright.

Maybe extended testing? I heard they sample a few for more detailed testing, which is probably a good thing.
