Selling the spare tire that came on my Rubicon - BFG KO2 LT285/70r17
The spare was never rotated in, so it still has original tread. Tire only - wheel not included.
My factory order 2 Dr Rubicon with hard top,8 spd, Steel bumpers, LED package and cold weather package cost me just over 41K, so not sure about the 50K. 10% off MSRP is usually the norm.
That said, only you can decide which one is a better value for your use case.
It is interesting that you are...
I have the bestop mats for the front and they work great. I like them a better than the weathetech mats on my other vehicle. They are a perfect fit and the deeper grooves help keep the top clean of mud and snow which the Mopar& weather tech ones don't seem to do quite as well.
Not sure if 2-3 pounds is accurate. If your stock tires were 33inch KO2's, the weight increase is close to 15 pounds each. Plus an extra 5 or so pounds for the wheel. Usually you get used to the slower acceleration and adjust the throttle as you drive more miles with this setup.
@Lightsped At highway pressure, my 2 Door Rubicon has what I would describe a pretty rough ride on trails compared to say a Grand Cherokee. I do not know how much of that difference is due to the suspension vs wheelbase. Anyway, I always air down even on non-technical trails with my Wrangler and...
@Suspect I really couldn't hear much in the video, but here is something to try. I had a weird noise from the rear which I thought was coming from the rear axle area. Turned out to be the tire jack kit moving in it's slot while turning. Once I re-adjusted it correctly in it's slot, no more noise.
If you see no improvement going into 4Hi, is it possible 4WD is not engaging for some reason? For me the backend does slip pretty easily on icy roads if its in 2HI, but never had any issues in 4HI.
KO2's did not work well on snowpacked roads for me either, compared to Duratracs or Falkens. Even on dry imperfect pavement they weren't as grippy . Not terrible by any means but not great. But they gripped really well aired down on rocky trails and were quite and comfortable on the highway , so...
IIn my opinion, they will not just make reservation orders first. They would want vehicles on the dealer lots for non-enthusiasts to test drive and buy. The enthusiasts are ging to wait if they have to. Jeep does the same thing. They aleady have 2021 models on dealer lots ahead of many who...
Completely agree. SFA is not just better for hard core rock crawling, it is superior for any slow speed offroading. Black bear pass is not a hard core trail by any means:
You are quoting my post which says I will buy whatever vehicle works for me irrespective of the brand and your conclusion is that I am a Jeep fanboy? I dont think I can argue with that kind of stupid. Have a good day and I hope you get the help you need. The battered wife thing sounds oddly...
I don't think it is a complicated "syndrome". If I am not happy with MY Jeep I will buy something else. It wont be based on other people's forum posts. You dont know how everyone else was "treated" by Jeep - do you?

Personally I think the base JL sport looks way better than the base model Bronco, which has more of a Renegade vibe to it. They look good with the 35's but I still...
I paid 41K for my 2Dr Rubi with 8 spd auto, hard top, LED,steel bumpers and cold weather group. And I didn't even shop around for deal - just couple of emails with the dealer 2 miles from home. It took about 2 months from order to delivery. So with less options 38K Rubi should be very much doable.
Agree. There was so much hype about patented new technology to store doors which is just putting them in bags in the cargo area? LOL. 35's from the factory and the slightly longer 2Dr dimensions are the two things I wish Jeep had done.
The Ford webiste has a note under every photo that says Mid-2021 availability. I would be surprised if they are at dealerships in April. The "sport" version will be available much earlier though.
